Caffélatex is a truly innovative tyre sealant: the first of its advantages over standard latex-based sealants comes from a foaming agent (Actifoam™), activated by wheel movement.
Centrifugal force drives standard latex-based sealants against the outer circumference of the tyre. Caffélatex foaming action causes it to fill the tyre's entire internal cavity , making it much more effective against sidewall punctures.
Its fast sealing action makes Caffélatex ideal for MTB and road tubeless, tubular and standard tyres: it repairs punctures up to 6mm (mtb) and 3mm (road).
Thanks to its formula, Caffélatex is a very stable and durable sealant, but we know this is highly depending on kind of application and external conditions. During our field-testing it stayed liquid for over 12 months in thick-casing tubeless tyres on UST wheels. Nevertheless, in the impossibility of knowing our customers' specific application (kind of wheel/tyre set-up, tyre sidewall thickness and porosities, external temperature and humidity, bicycle storage conditions...), we recommend checking Caffélatex every 2 months, to make sure it's liquid and therefore retains its 'puncture preventive' action.
When dry, Caffélatex-sealed wheels are still air-tight, but Caffélatex won't actively repair punctures.
Containing no ammonia, Caffélatex is 100% tyre & rim friendly.
Usage and storage temperatures: from very cold to very hot, exceeding by far those of first-generation latex sealants (usage: -20/+50°C ~ storage: -15/ +30°C).
Recommended quantities: 30 to 50 ml per wheel for road/cyclo-cross applications; 50 ml for mtb tyres up to 26x2.10/29x2.00; 80 to 100 ml for mtb tyres over 26x2.10/29x2.00.

Caffélatex

Clean sealant injection: this oversize syringe (100 ml capacity) injects the special Caffélatex sealant through the valve, to seal the fitted tyre in a clean way.
The injector works for both Presta (removing or not the valve-core) and Schrader valves, and comes with a long silicone tube for easier application.

Reinforced with a dense glass-fiber matrix, it can stand even high pressure with just one layer: replacing standard rim-tape, Caffé Tubeless Tape perfectly adapts to rim internal profile and makes standard rims air-tight, sealing spoke holes.
Caffé Tubeless Tape will allow the use of Tubeless, Tubeless-Ready and TNT (Tube No Tube) tyres on most standard mtb wheels.
Two different widths are available:
- 21mm for rims with external section from 22 up to 25 mm;
- 25 mm for rims with external section from 25 up to 28 mm.
There are two different lenght options as well: 5 m is enough for two wheels (26” or 29”), 50 m is recommended for shops or teams.

WARNING:
- before gluing Caffé Tape inside the rim, carefully clean the rim-bed, removing any trace of grease or lubricant (use alcohol or other de-greaser, then - VERY IMPORTANT - clean carefully with a clean, dry cloth. Adhesion of the tape on dried-up alcohol is not good);
- use a sharp spike or a screwdriver to make a round hole in Caffé Tubeless Tape at the valve hole. AVOID using a cutter knife and doing an "X" cut, that would prevent proper air-tightness at the valve base.

Removable valve core: Caffé Tubeless Valve is state of the art. Thanks to its removable core, the valve allows the use of valve extensions (if needed) and can be completely rebuilt.
The rubber base ensures a perfect air-tightness just hand-tightening the lock nut (that compresses the rubber base against the rim-bed), without any need for easy-to-loose o-rings.

To take full advantage of Caffélatex sealant, we created two complete kits, to convert standard mountain-bike wheels into tubeless ones (2 wheels per kit).
Caffélatex Tubeless Kit has been developed for Tubeless, Tubeless-Ready and TNT (Tube No Tube) mountain bike tyres, manufactured according to UST fitting diameter.
WARNING: the use of Caffélatex Tubeless Kit with standard tube-type tyres is done under the user's sole responsibility and the inflation with these tyres might be very difficult, due to Caffé Tubeless Tape reduced thickness.
