IT: Twentynineinches.com ha completato un'intera stagione di test sul Caffélatex. In pratica Caffélatex si è comportato all'altezza delle aspettative (molto elevate!) in tutti gli aspetti, anche se Guitar Ted, il tester, è stato in qualche modo deluso dalla durata di vita, paragonabile a suo dire a quella di altri sigillanti in lattice.
In realtà i nostri test di laboratorio mostrano una maggiore durata per il Caffélatex... ma questo vantaggio è molto più evidente nel caso di pneumatici con fianchi robusti (Geax TNT) o UST. Utilizzando pneumatici leggeri standard senza camera d'aria, l'elevata porosità fa si che la maggiore durata si riduca ad un paio di settimane, non abbastanza per essere rilevata a sensazione. Quando Caffélatex è aggiunto a pneumatici già sigillati, la maggiore durata può essere più facilmente apprezzata.

Our lab tests show a longer life for Caffélatex... but this advantage is much more noticeable on thicker-casing (like Geax TNTs) or UST tyres. On lightweight tube-type tyres used as tubeless, with an high porosity, the extra duration can be around a couple of weeks, not enough to be measured by feel. Once the tyres are sealed and Caffélatex is re-injected, the extra sealant life can be more easily appreciated.
